There are a number of places nearby to have breakfast or dinner. Hama-no-yu and Gojinka Onsen, both public hot springs, are only 2 minutes away from Hale Kai.

If you come to Oshima island to swim then is the place to stay. A shower is located in the semi-indoor space connecting the garden and the rooms, so when you return from swimming, etc., you can clean off the seawater and sand and enter your room.
